Denise Ross, Journalist, Had died

Denise Ross wrote a lot of columns and stories and if my memory is correct, she dug for news and information.  I barely knew her, but one year ostensibly hunting pheasants at Nick Nemec place near Holabird,SD, we and a couple others ended up sitting talking in a club cab pickup rather than chasing wily pheasants.  She was very interesting.  More information on her Facebook page.    Denise Ross Facebook Page

Update of Aug 2, 2018--Kevin Wooster has written a long post at the SDPB Blog On the Other Hand.  Lots of memories about Denise Ross, politics, Mt. Blogmore and more.  It is the kind of writing that can bring tears to your eyes, but a very fitting memorial to an interesting woman and inspiring life.
