*** Obituary... James A. Johnson

I posted the obituary of James A. Johnson  formerly of Winner, Murdo, Sioux Falls, and Vermillion and Iowa.  The obituary was in the Vermillion Plain Talk.  I have it on my obituary page of my Notebooks blog.   He was 78.  A few years ago, he called me and told me in the morning he was going to see his doctor.  That evening his wife Carolyn called me and said he collapsed by the car that morning with a serious stroke.  Since that time, he has spent most of his time in nursing homes and hospitals.  I miss his political comments and his humor.  Condolences to his family and friends.
