The Argus Leader is no longer available in Winner, SD except on Sunday, so I missed the Alan Clem obituary. A friend called last night and told me. Clem put up with me in one of his government classes (They call it Political Science, Dept. now). He was obviously Republican, but a good professor anyway. I learned a few things and enjoyed his classes.
At the time, I was not aware of Clem's experience and education. Obituary is worth reading.
