While Reliance weather radio was reporting 10 mile visibility there and light mist, 60 miles south in Winner, we were getting a major dose of snow and wind. Visibility here was something between a half a block and a block. Ground was warm, so we have a lot of slush around. Trees were loaded with the heavy wet snow. It was also no fun to shovel. Anyway, below is a photo of trees in Winner.j
Winner city and Tripp County have bladed a lot of the slush off the streets and roads. If that were left to freeze on roads tonight, we would have had a wretched mess tomorrow morning. I hope the flowers around town that were starting to bloom will survive this. Flowers in Rapid City last week were already open and for a few hours were in snow. Not sure what happened out there today however.
