*** GOP convention --- Great Wall of Crap

I really tried to take a few notes as I watched the GOP convention, but so much of it was out-right lies about Obama and attacks on "them" who apparently want to undo everything Republicans have built in this country..that I just had to tune out.  Even if it was miserably hot outside, enduring the GOP wall of crap inside made the air-conditioning irrelevant.

To listen to these loons, one would have to believe that all those "Live Free or Die" Vermonters would have rolled over and died after they heard all those allegations about "them" taking away their freedoms.  I am also amazed at how many Republican politicians they can dig up who have autistic, retarded, or otherwise severely handicapped children who have prospered despite the un-named enemy of children attacking them.

Then we have those successful GOP businessmen and women turned pols who built such business success despite big governemnt thwarting their every move with oppressive environmental regulations ....and gasp..Obamacare making medical care possible..  Then buried in the success story of triumph over big government is..would you believe it?....a contract to supply clothes, etc. to the US Defense Department.

I do hope the Democratic Convention will stick to the facts which should by themselves send the retrograde obstructionist Republicans howling in the wilderness for the next 40 years. [[Note, I could put up with a bunch of pretty women in red, white, and blue short shorts waving flags and marching to "Happy Days are Here Again."]]]

Oh, and God Bless the United States of America, and all the oil tankers at sea.and the brave corporations headquartered in tax havens that make it possible for them to keep polluting the air.

The "wall of sound" music was bad enough, but the GOP wall of crap is terrible

Douglas, you summed up this show in the best words I've heard yet: "A Great Wall of Crap." That's all I heard last night as well. Bull crap followed by crap and more bull crap. LOL All this Crap is to stick it to our President after he has taken nothing but crap for four years from their obstructionism. GOP = The Party of Bull Crap.
