Sure did not take long for Obama and Romney to express their profound thoughts on numerous deaths and injuries at an Aurora, Colorado movie theater. Sometimes silence really is golden
Any tragedy is fodder for partisan crap and exploitation from all sides. Already right-wing conspiracy "theorists" are trying to connect "Bane" in the movie with "Bain" and Mitt Romney as a devilishly clever Obama tactic.
I am wondering how long it will be until some conservative mythology master says that if only all the people in that theater had concealed weapons, only 1 perpetrator would be dead.
Colorado Shooting fault of evolution and taking God out of Schoolrooms
Enough of my pot calling their kettle black. Even if it means nothing in the real world, my condolences to the victims and their families regardless of their partisan perspective.
Now, if we can actually learn anything of substance or consequence from this tragedy. I don't want to hear about Homeland Security deciding that anybody wearing black and driving a white car should be considered a terror threat. They might even find some such who buy pizza. Every theater will need an armed Cinema Marshall sniffing for pizza breath.
Heresy, Mayor Bloomberg thinks guns might be a problem
David Newquist of Northern Valley Beacon is not Amused
And some hypocrisy from a reactionary, bribery-managed, non-governed nation of scofflaws
And it is just to hot here in Winner, SD to type anymore this evening. Did much of this last night and then failed to save it. Had some better links then too.

Much of the high official handholding over such crimes seems overdone. And flags at half staff? Good grief, shouldn't we have flown our flags at half staff pretty much every day since we invaded Afghanistan? 11,500 people get shot to death in America each year. That's 31 people a day.
