Patrriots
I really find legacy-President Bush's exploitation of the flag and patriotism despicable. The administration regularly attempts to paint those who oppose the Bush Thug administration as unpatriotic, traitors, terrrorsist, disloyal, etc, etc. They also like to give the appearance that the US Flag belongs to them. This is the real desecration of the flag...attempting to steal it for narrow partisan use to protect Bush crony capitalism.
Howard Dean hit on this early. He said he was tired of the GOP misusing citiizens love of the flag for the most base partisan purposes. I miss Howard Dean as a Presidential candidate.
