We visited our relatives yesterday and while returning, I took a couple of photos which some of you may find interesting. The first is a cottonwood sentinel on the prairie. Click on image for a larger version.
When we got to the east end of the Platte-Winner bridge, the sun had just drifted below the horizon. Before we got out of the river hills to the west, darkness was rapidly approaching. The sun seems to set like a rock in a hurry this time of year.
Well, hope you find the images interesting. Mighty flat country from Platte and east. Photographic excitement is easy to conceal.
