I hope you and your loved ones had a good day and can feel happy about another Thanksgiving Day even if it means another year has nearly disappeared.

Chilly here today, but the food was good even if not a turkey and even if our children were away at work. No snow on roads around here, so I hope South Dakota has another Thanksgiving season with no highway crash fatalities.
Now, just survive the trampling herds of Black Friday. One of my friends said that "Black Friday" always reminds him of WWII bombing raids and one particular day that was called "Black Thursday" or "Black Friday"...not sure which now.
A bunch of stores open today and it sort of makes me think we and those working in Stores on Thanksgiving day might be better off if all states had "Blue laws" keeping most stores closed today. Apparently only three eastern states still enforce such laws.
