2012 was not a very good year. Not so bad for our immediate family, but more than a little misery, pain and agony for other relatives and friends. For some reason, at the beginning of 2012 I had one of those gut feelings that problems were coming; that the year was not going to be a very good year. Unfortunately, as the year wore on, that became obvious. We are hoping for a better year in 2013 for us, our friends and families, and for readers of Dakota Today.
My wife thought the pink elephant would make a good gift for our granddaughter. It was, but before we gave it away, I took a few photos. We tried to find a stuffed donkey, but none of those were available here.
Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours and may Republicans rediscover reality.
