Today, Secretary of State Jason Gant stated the following:
Pat Powers has resigned from his duties in the South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office to spend more time with his children and pursue business opportunities in the private sector. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pat for his efforts in helping modernize this Office and advancing the common goal of making it more transparent.
Those of us who have been blogging for a few years may wonder if this means Pat Powers will again be blasting away on a war blog. We may also wonder if Stan A. legislator from Rapid City will be happier now.
