Bill O'Reilly is usually out to lunch on another planet, but today in column in Mitchell Daily Republic in column titled "Obama is losing his eloquence", O'Reilly might even be in the neighborhood of a reasonable observation. O' Reilly notes that in a speech to the G-20 summit in Mexico, Obama stumbled around and did not seem to O'Reilly at least, to have made much sense or communicated anything of consequence.
Of course, O'Reilly has an agenda, that the once eloquent Obama is now so befuddled by the compexity of issues and problems that he doesn't know what to say or do.
That may be a stretch, but I have started to seriously doubt Obama's ability to communicate when not delivering a set campaign speech where he can play rock star.
Of course, coming from the direction more or less opposite of O'Reilly and probably Fox News, it seems to me that Obama has failed to communicate sensible policies and reasons for their support with the kind of specifics and precision needed to even appear Presidential and in control. He has let Republicans define issues. Whether that failure to challenge them is because Obama just underestimates our ability to comprehend facts and complexity or because he actually supports the big money, big banks, big financial interests etc
I also do not understand his support of the illegal immigrant invasion of the US in any other terms than it is purely political expediency. His position makes no more sense than a Supreme Court justice saying that state laws aimed at enforcing federal laws and protecting our borders somehow "undermine" the federal government.
