**Gov. Sarah Palin (Gov. Moose Drool) set to resign

In the less than earth-shaking news, I heard yesterday that Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin announced she will resign in July.  Kind of a surprise what with all the GOP rhetoric about personal responsibility, etc.  All kinds of guesses trying to interpret her convoluted language, but a few of mine below which may be about as good as all the other speculation.

• 1. She is in deep doo-doo.
• 2. She has a job coming up with the RNC replacing whomever is there.
• 3. She is returning to sports "journalism" and will be local color on some networks sports show.
• 4. She will be spokesperson for some line of glasses, clothes, sports equipment or hair product, etc.
• 5. She will be another vacuous face on Fox News.
• and least likely guess:
• 6. She and Mark Sanford are setting up a political advertising and consultancy group ..or are eloping to Mexico.

Take your pick. We may find out soon how quickly we forget a political meteoric rise and fall.

Palin’s move just puts yet more pressure on Obama to finally get some results, as the soaring rhetoric isn’t hypnotizing the plebes like it used to. This week Helen Thomas, Colin Powell, and Warren Buffet all turned on him. Polls are looking droopy for The One lately.

Obama’s porkulus program is a train wreck, all it’s done is bump interest rates and tank the dollar. We are being laughed at by bad guys like Tehran, Pyongyang, and Al Qaida who amazingly turned-down Barack’s timid friend-requests.

Palin could trounce him in 2012, when Americans would vote for the Gipper-in-Heels in droves- while begging for lower taxes, free enterpise, a defense posture with some backbone… an end to the radical, anti-American nightmare we’ve got now.

Go get ‘em Sarah-

I really hate to be knit-picky about everything but I can't just sit here and let you defame Moose Drool by pairing it with Sarah Palin. I know it's a catchy name, but such a good beer should not have it's image tarnished.

Moreover, Missoula (where Big Sky Brewery is located)is by far the most liberal town in Montana and overwhelmingly voted for Obama, so give us a break. Much a obliged.
