I was searching for the expression "sure as God made little green apples" as an alternative to "sure as hell" which apparently tripped the fire alarm as a banned expression at the hallowed cathedral halls of Mt. Blogmore and dumped a few hundred words of my comment posted on Daschle failures down into Mt. Blogmore's rat-infested sewers..when I found the following link which is a lot more interesting than my deleted and lost comments.
** Christmas gift exchange complicated by wrapping wrath
I guess "little green apples" was in the text of that page which turned up in Google, but I won't search for "serendipity" anyway.
Meanwhile, I see the campaign in South Dakota between incumbent Sen. Tim Johnson and challenger Republican Dykstra keeps campaign workers searching for ever more insignificant issues. Johnson's votes showing absences when he was in a hospital and the alleged work by Michelle Rook of WNAX on the Dykstra campaign are apparently the hotly insignificant issues of the day.
Impeaching Bush and Cheney and converting US away from dependence on foreign fuels with the equivalent of an energy moonshot investment would seem to be more important actual issues.
