Federal Judge: Prisoners Have Abortion Rights
A federal judge has ordered the state of Missouri to provide transportation to a female inmate who wants an abortion.
The judge held that prisoners have a constitutional right to abortion, just like everyone else. How Appealing has posted the opinion here. The Kansas City Star has more.

As comments following the post indicate, the wingnut theocrats of the Taliban Republican persuasion are torn between their propaganda for the joy of unwed mothers and rape victims being turned into baby mills, and their propaganda for making "criminals" suffer and pay for their "crimes".
Tis a puzzlement for them. This is one more court decision suggesting that the South Dakota legislature and the South Dakota governor Smilin' Mikey violated their oaths to support and defend the US constitution by knowingly passing legislation and signing into law even though they knew it was unconstitutional.
The SD Taliban Republican willingness to squander money on lawyers on futile defenses of the indefensible is amazing when contrasted with their tight-fisted grasp on funding for programs that might actually help real live children.
