I know sophisticated blog readers who view this blog now and then will probably
not be thrilled beyond words to find a recipe experiment for Wheat bread with
ground flaxseed added here, but by gosh, ...it is already typed and ready to go.
It's the frugal Norwegian way to not waste typing strokes.
This is our first result with adding ground flaxseed. This bread mixture
comes pretty close to texture and taste of a $3 a loaf bread sold as
something like New England Brown Bread by Safeway which is very good tasting
. The flaxseed tends to add a hint of nutty flavor. I guess some people may be allergic to it, so
be careful even if it is also supposed to be good for your blood circulation
system and heart. Try it. See if you like it. If you have suggestions for
changes or additions to recipe, let us know.
