* Senator Thune was apparently a guest on Gannon's radio show on Feb 5th of last year.
* Now, the very same day that the Thune campaign ran an ad criticizing Daschle for claiming DC as his home residence, Gannon wrote an article claiming the same.
According to the wingnut loon bloggers, Democrats are only critical of t"Jeff Gannon" because he is apparently gay. Some are claiming "Democrats are Gay Bashing"...
I wonder if Thune and "Jeff Gannon" discussed the defense of marriage amendment to protect all those heterosexuals fearing for the sanctity of their marriages because of the terrible threat of gay unions.
Damn, politics really does make strange bedfellows.
Stay thuned in..and that's all for now, Folks-- Doug Wiken

Isn't the point with the whole Gannon case, that he was endangered the life of Valerie Plame, as well as printing white hosue spin verbatim?
Whether he's a gay conservative or not would seem irrelevant unless it's a means of distancing him from the white house, who certainly would have vetted him before they gave him such astonishing access.
That he's gay would not be an insult from Media Matters'
David Brock or Americablog's Aravosis (both openly and proud gay men), unless Gannon's a hypocrite for serving interests that go against his very being.
It becomes "gay-bashing" when you consider homosexuality wrong. But I guess character doesn't count?
